Corwin G Lowe
87, Appleton, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Corwin was born on March 13, 1930 in Knoxville, Iowa to the late Harry N and J. Juanita (Brooks) Lowe. He was drafted into the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged in 1952. Corwin graduated from Central Bible College in Springfield, MO. He was united in marriage to Dorothy A. Borthwick in Winnipeg, Canada on August 31, 1957. Corwin went on to Pastor in Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, Dorothy of 60 years; son: Robert H. (Rebeca) Lowe of Leesburg, VA and Brian T. Lowe of Appleton; a daughter, Jodi A. (Gregory) Hellman of Marquette, MI; two granddaughters: Amanda K. Centko, Bismarck, ND and Sarah A. Lowe of Paris, France; a daughter-in-law, Maria C. Lowe of Paris, France; sister, Janie Barnard; 5 step-grandchildren: Romina (Sam) Hiti, Damaris (Rev. Kristian) Carlson, Betsabe Del Pilar, Abigail and Maxwell Hellman.
Corwin was preceded in death by his parents; a son, James Bradley Lowe; sister, Marlene (Fred) Parker and a brother-in-law, Ron Barnard.
Funeral services for Corwin will be held at 11 AM on Wed. Nov. 22, 2017 at Fox Valley Christian Fellowship (1200 W. Kimberly Ave), Kimberly with Rev. Steve Nickel officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, directly at church from 10 AM until the time of service.
