Today I lost my best friend, but now she walks with Jesus. Carolee Ann Moe of Appleton passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018. She was born on July 16, 1953 in Marquette Michigan to Myrtle Lee Linne and Arneth Grant Moe. She graduated from Ohio University with an accounting degree. Carolee throughout her life owned and operated a dairy queen and a bakery in Chilton, WI. She also owned Moe Media Placement the Fox Book, Bay Book and the Waupaca Book. Carolee loved church, bible study, boating, riding the Harley and packer games. But most of all spending time with her grandchild.

She will be greatly missed by her soul mate,  Ronald G Van Handel, her mother Myrtle (Charlie) Linne, her son John (Dani) Field, her grandchildren: Violet Field, Tobin Kirk and Gemma Wells, also Violets mother Allison Engle; her sister, Terrie (Eric) Vanden Heuvel, brother, Jim (Mary) Moe, her nephew Jessie (Gail) Moe and their son Gryffin, her niece Alicia D’Ambrosia and her sons: Joe, Steve and Charlie; Arnie’s second wife, Julie Moe; other family, friends and loved one’s.

Carolee was preceded in death by her father Arneth Grant Moe, her grandmother Silvia Moe, grandfather Arneth Moe, grandmother Zola Heffner and her grandfather John Spivey.

Friends may call at Appleton Alliance Church in Appleton, Thursday, March 22, 2018, from 9:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am followed by a lunch.

Carolee will always be remembered for her kindness and her loving smile. She always said if there is someone else having more fun than we are, we need to meet them.
