Ralph R. Madison, 69, Appleton, passed away unexpectedly at Appleton Medical Center surrounded by his family and friends on Monday, May 27, 2019. He was born August 13, 1949 in Camp Douglas, WI to the late Harry and Navea (Youngs) Madison. Ralph learned construction at a young age working on roads, doing masonry, building and fixing just about anything and everything. He owned his own businesses, Madison Construction and Ralph’s Home Improvements for many years.
He married Colleen Strong on November 30, 1994. Together they built the house they live in and have enjoyed caring for their house and yard; especially gardening, mowing and numerous projects. Ralph also enjoyed watching football and Nascar.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Colleen and her son Adam (Laurie) Keplin and their girls: Jordan and Taylor; Ralph’s son, Jesse Madison; a brother Dale Madison and numerous nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Elaine (Keith) Burrows and Jean (Neil) Miota.
A Memorial Service for Ralph will be held at 11 AM, Friday, May 31, 2019 at Appleton Alliance Church (2693 W Grand Chute Blvd) Appleton with Rev Brian Episcopo officiating. Friends may visit the family directly at church on Friday from 9 – 11AM.
