Alisa Renee Freeman ‘Aleese’
50, of Nichols passed away tragically as a result of an automobile accident on Jan. 14, 2021. She was born on February 27, 1970 in Marquette, Michigan to Albert R. Freeman and Sandra Boucher. Aleese was the most loving, fun seeking, genuine person that you’ll ever meet and chose to live life on her own terms. If Aleese was in a room, you knew it and she made sure you were smiling! She had an uncanny way of relating to everyone she met. Even if she barely knew you, you were almost guaranteed to get a hug both when she came into the room and when she left. She loved camping, boating, biking, traveling, spending time with her family, and making people smile. She had a love for cooking and always Impressed us all with her own twist on her food and drink creations. She always said her cooking was done “with love” and that’s why it was so good! She had several occupations, all of which she excelled at. Most notable, in her younger days in Florida she built sea walls and “showed the guys how to do it” before returning to Wisconsin to operate her own paint contracting business and help her longtime boyfriend creatively remodel several houses. She always had her own unique way of doing things that almost always involved her singing and dancing while she worked or played. Her happiness and zest for life was infectious and there are no words to describe how much she is and will continue to be missed.
She will be greatly missed by her mother, Sandra (Thomas) Boucher; father, Rich (Rita McGrath) Freeman; her partner, Brent Gerdts; children: Taryn (Tim) LaCrosse, Brick Cole, Garrett Cole, Kelsey Dietzmann and Wescott Freeman; a granddaughter Kenna LaCrosse and a granddaughter on the way; two sisters: Myshelle Roesken and her children: Dylan and Grady; Tracie Freeman and her children: Terryl, Amyia, Savannah and Taveous; a special aunt, Cheryl and her family; two uncles: Robert (Jan) Johnson and Allen Freeman; and her special furry friend, Yogi.
A Memorial Service for Alisa will be held at 6 PM on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021 at Brettschneider Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel with Rev. Paul Ibish officiating. All close friends and family are welcome to attend, although there will be a “Celebration of Life” planned for a larger venue this summer, which was her favorite time of year, that will make her proud. Details will be posted on social media as they become available. Heaven now has an angel to liven things up and bring on the smiles!
