Curtis J. Foth passed away on May 8, 2022, following a long battle with cancer.  Curt was born in Neenah on June 14, 1952, to the late George and Marian (Kohanski) Foth.  He graduated with the class of 1970 from St. Mary Menasha High School.  On October 27, 1973, he was united in marriage to Susan Voigt.  The couple have enjoyed 48 years together.  An auto technician by trade, Curt worked as a mechanic for many years before settling in at Pierce Mfg. and building fire trucks.  He retired from Pierce after 15 happy years.

If you knew Curt, then you knew he loved music.  Music has always been a light to him thru good and bad.  He eagerly passed on his musical knowledge to his children and encouraged musical expression.  After he retired, he was so happy to reconnect and jam with former friends and band members.  Curt loved spending time in Mountain, WI with his family.  He enjoyed fishing and just relaxing up there.  He had a very close and special bond with his brother Mike, whom he talked and joked with every day.  Curt could make people laugh.  He was the “King of Puns.”  Most of all, he loved spending time with his two grandchildren and watching them grow.

He will be missed by his wife Susan, Appleton; son Samuel, Appleton; daughter Liz, Appleton; grandchildren Conner and Evan Cotton, Appleton; brother Mike (Sharron) Foth, Lodi, WI; 2 brothers-in-law:  James (Noritha) Voigt, Fremont, and Steve (Debbie) Voigt, Oshkosh; and sisters-in-law Mary Voigt and Patricia Foth.  He is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his mother and father-in-law Clarence and Betty Voigt, brothers-in-law Don Loga and Gary (Janis) Weiland.

Per Curt’s wishes, a private family service will be held.  A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on June 10, 2022 at Palisades Park.
