Obituary

Dennis L. Tiede, age 82, of Appleton, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Dimensions Living in Appleton.  He was born to the late LaVern and Ruth (Boyle) Tiede on January 31, 1940 in Appleton.  On November 28, 1959, Dennis married the love of his life, Evon Stingle.  Dennis spent many years performing in the country band “Two Plus Two” with his wife, and eventually his son, Guy.  They would play many weddings and private celebrations.  He enjoyed working on his cars, especially his ’57 Chevy and ’63 Chevy truck.  Dennis would spend time hanging with his friends at local establishments.

Dennis is survived by his children: Tony (Marilyn), Vicki (Kevin) Hanegraaf, and Guy (Jodie); his grandchildren: Breton (Sarah) Tiede, Natalie Tiede, Kade and Kyle Hanegraaf, Travis (Emily) Tiede and Tyler (Lizzy) Tiede; great grandchildren: Jayna, Oscar, Hattie, Henry, Mateo, and Kinnin Tiede; sister Sharon Herbig; sister-in-law Sandee Stingle; and many cousins, other relatives and friends.  He is preceded by his loving wife, Evon; his parents; and brothers-in-law Jim Herbig and Jerry Stingle.

A Funeral Service for Dennis will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 20, 2022 at BRETTSCHNEIDER TRETTIN NICKEL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 606 N Oneida Street, Appleton.  Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the prayer service.
