Elizabeth Ann Miller, 61 of Appleton passed away on May 10th, 2022 after a 4-year battle with Dementia. Beth was born in Hammond Indiana on November 1st 1960. She is the daughter of the late Arthur Gassler and the living Jacqueline Forsman. She grew up in Illinois and enjoyed spending her summers on her grandmother’s farm in Cullom Illinois. She attended college at Cornell College and met her loving husband David Miller. They relocated to Appleton Wisconsin and were married in Green Bay on August 28th 1982. Dave and Beth shared over 40 years together and were blessed with one living daughter Kaitlyn. Beth and Dave also had a son, Matthew that preceded Beth in death.
Beth loved her family, gardening, reading books, and any activity with her daughter Kaitlyn. Beth helped coach Kaitlyn in soccer and helped lead her Girl Scout troop. Beth and Kaitlyn constantly went to different stores and enjoyed talking daily on the phone when Kaitlyn was an adult. Beth, Dave and Kaitlyn loved visiting Disney World as a family. She enjoyed the Christmas holiday and had her house completely decorated with a variety of Christmas trees and decorations. She enjoyed hosting holiday events at her house with her family and always made everyone feel loved. She enjoyed working at Guardian Life Insurance for over 20 years and was known affectionately by her friends at work as “Mama Beth”. Beth is known for her nurturing, loving character and was a mother figure to others in her life.
She is survived by her husband Dave, and her daughter Kaitlyn (Alex) Loritz. She is also survived by her sister Sheri Gassler, her brother Eric (Les) Forsman, her sister in law Debbie (Mark) Gale and their children Ali (Cody) Gale, and Daniel (Cori) Gale. She is survived by her other sister in law Susie (Neil) Camling and her children April (Denis) Rains and Ariel (JD) Beeter. Beth is also survived by her mother Jacqueline Forsman, and her loving Aunts Ruth Heideman, Phyllis (Ed) Moritz, Sharon McCoy and her Uncle Richard Gassler.
Beth was preceded in death by her son Matthew Miller, her father Arthur Gassler, her stepfather David Forsman and many of her Aunts and Uncles.

Funeral Services and visitation for Beth will be held at 10:30am until 1pm on Saturday June 4, 2022 at Brettschneider-Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel, located at 606 N. Oneida Street in Appleton. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for Beth with proceeds going to Unity Hospice at 2366 Oak Ridge Cir, De Pere, WI 54115, or you can send a donation on their website at Unityhospice.org
There will also be a separate service for Beth in Oregon, Illinois on Saturday June 18th where she will laid at her final resting place with her son Matthew Miller.
