Gregory Louis Hannemann
74 of Appleton, died November 19, 2021 at Little Chute Health Services. Greg, the son of the late Gary & Judy Hannemann, was born on February 28, 1947 in Wisconsin.
He attended Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota, graduating in 1969. He was employed much of his life as a parochial schoolteacher. His passion for golf brought him to being employed at Rolling Meadows Golf Course and then at several retail golf shops. He enjoyed watching sports and was a member of Riverview Ev. Lutheran Church, Appleton.
Survivors include: his niece Jessica (Ron) Bosymowski; nephew James Dennig and brother-in-law Bill Denning; many cousins and good friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Debra (William) Denning in 2020; brother, Todd in 2017 and his parents Gary and Judy.
A special recognition to cousins: Kevin Gertsch, Dale Hanneman, and friend, Todd Moritz for the friendship over the last years. Also, a sincere thank you to the staff at Little Chute Health Services for the kind care over the months of his illness.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Service for Greg at 11 am on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Riverview Ev. Lutheran Church (136 W Seymour Ave) Appleton with Rev. Timothy Wagner officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 am.
He will be laid to rest alongside his parents at Our Savior Lutheran Cemetery, Iola.
