Obituary

Steven “Brillo” Miller, age 65, of Appleton, WI, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, June 1, 2021.  Brillo was born in Appleton on September 15, 1955, to Bernard and Patricia (Lamers) Miller.  He graduated from Little Chute High School.  Brillo worked for many years at Miller Electric in numerous roles, where he was also the party planner and set up arcade games for the company picnics at Telulah Park in Appleton.  His true passion was playing darts, participating at the state, national and international levels.  He also loved playing golf, shooting pool, and shaking dice and he was proficient at all of them. He made friends wherever he went and is remembered as a mentor by many dart players in Wisconsin. He was always winning but also always teaching.

He is survived by his children, daughter Maggie Stalsberg, Menasha and son Russ Miller, Little Chute; the mother of his children, Catherine Rietveld; his father, Bernard (Elaine) Miller, Little Chute; siblings Jean (Mike) Van Wychen, Kaukauna, Carol (Ron) Samp, Port Charlotte, FL, brother, Scott (Kerri) Miller, Kaukauna, and Amy (Mike) Bodoh, Clintonville, Brother-in-Law Kevin Brick (Connie), Kaukauna, special friend Cherie “CC” Laurent, 7 grandchildren and his beloved dog Tia.  He is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother Patricia, sisters Joan Sanderfoot and Connie Brick, special friend of 30 years, Sherry Stacker, and his best friend and partner in crime, Larry Dorn.
