Theodore “Ted” Richard Krause, age 74, passed away on August 30, 2021 at Wisconsin Veteran’s Home at King due to complications of Agent Orange. Ted was born on February 14, 1947 to the late Gordon and Ethel (Eifealdt) Krause in Appleton. Ted proudly served his country during Vietnam in the United States Army. He was a member of American Legion Post #38. On April 1, 2006, Ted married the love of his life Maria Kelderman. He enjoyed studying Military history, especially World War II, working on race engines and anything automotive related.
Ted is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Maria Kelderman; his children: Richard (Tricia), AJ (Katie), Kentucky and Willow; grandchildren: Taylor, Kamryn, Jadyn, Maci and Arnold; siblings: Tim (Deb) Krause, Ken Krause, Rose Krause, Greg (Sue) Krause, Dave (Ann) Krause, Pauline Hankwitz, and Bob (Shari) Krause; Maria’s siblings and extended family; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister Kathy Van Daalwyk; and brother-in-law Dave Hankwitz.
A committal service lead by Father Carl Schmitt with Military Honors will take place at Riverside Cemetery, 714 N. Owaissa Street, Appleton at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.
