Scott grew up in the ‘Holy Land’ on the east side of Lake Winnebago and graduated from Worsham College of Mortuary in 1999. Upon graduation he moved to Appleton to begin his funeral directing career. Scott and Michelle married in 2007 and have three children: Zach, Josh, and Ava. When he is not at work you can find him in his yard, coaching his kid’s baseball teams or helping a neighbor. They are members of First English Lutheran Church in Appleton and love to travel and explore as a family. Scott also belongs to the Appleton Noon Lions Club and takes pride in helping families create meaningful services to honor their loved ones.
Corey was born and raised in the Fox Valley spending most of his time in Combined Locks. He graduated Kimberly High School in 2006 and attended UW Oshkosh in vocal music education. Experiencing grief himself, he decided to pursue funeral service in 2009. He has been a licensed funeral director since 2014 and is a graduate of Des Moines Area Community College’s mortuary program. In his free time, he enjoys singing, trivia, spending time with his family and is an extremely avid golfer. Corey takes great pride in providing the most meaningful and sincere service to the families he serves.
Funeral Director/Grief Support Specialist/Administrative Assistant
Joyce grew up on a farm in the Hortonville/Greenville area. After graduating from Hortonville High School, she worked at AAL/Thrivent Financial for 32 years before taking early retirement to pursue her second career as a funeral director. She has been with Brettschneider-Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel since 2014 as funeral director, grief support specialist and administrative assistant. She has a great attitude about life and her caring and compassion is reflected in her work. Joyce loves spending time with her two adult children and their spouses and has grandchild on the way. She is a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Appleton, where she is actively involved in the GriefShare Ministry and many other volunteer opportunities. In her free time, Joyce enjoys getting together with family and friends, reading a good book and traveling.
